Achieve the goal of lightweight
Rassini, vice president of engineering and leaf spring and director of lightweight R&D, said that Rassini's position in the automotive supply chain makes it the preferred partner of original equipment manufacturers seeking innovative solutions. "When Ford Engineering considered how to develop the next generation of leaf spring suspension products, they would first come to us." Relevant personnel said, "They put forward some very aggressive lightweight goals for the chassis of the next generation F-150 truck, and they would like to know what we have in mind."
The plan given by Rassini to Ford complements the development trend of leaf spring in the history of automobile transportation. Over the years, with the improvement of steel quality, the number of steel plates in the package has gradually decreased, because they can bear the same load with fewer plates.
